Do the right thing for Vermont’s homeless

To the Editor,
Over the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of Vermont provided a free motel room to any Vermonter experiencing homelessness through the GA Motel Program.
On July 1, the state of Vermont made the decision to exit upwards of 700 Vermonters from this program. People were handed a tent and told to leave the motel.  This is unacceptable.
