Clerk leaving is valley's loss

The valley is losing a dedicated, generous, knowledgeable public servant.
Wilmington Town Clerk Susie Haughwout is retiring and moving down south. This is a huge blow to the Dover Town Clerk’s Office. I will no longer be able to call her up when I’m wondering how to handle some difficult problem and hear her reassuring, calm voice on the other end telling me I haven’t actually invalidated Town Meeting or screwed up in a way that can’t be fixed!
Susie has helped me and many other town clerks all over the state, especially new clerks.
