Chris was the life of Mount Snow

Chris Diamond recently passed away. For those who did not know Chris, he was the GM at Mount Snow Ski Area from 1977 to the 1990s. Chris then went to Steamboat Ski Area.
Chris was a Milton Scholar, a business man, my mentor, my boss, and my friend. Chris brought so much to the Deerfield Valley. He connected with the community. He knew the business people, the restaurant owners, the saloon owners, and the locals. As the general manager he seemed to know the entire staff, from top level managers to the custodian making the last sweep at the Base Lodge.
