Ceremony marked 100th year for American Legion

I would like to genuinely thank everyone who helped organize this year’s Memorial Day ceremony and parade. This year was the American Legion’s 100th anniversary so we wanted to make it particularly special, and it was!
Harriet Maynard from the Historical Society lent us vintage uniforms from different branches of the service, along with old photographs of local members of the community in uniform from their time in the service. Photographs and memorabilia were also lent to us from various town members, which were on display throughout the weekend.
