Cannabis will alter our culture, revote the article
To the Editor,
Fellow Wilmington voters, at Town Meeting last week an article passed by a margin of 88 votes which will allow retail recreational cannabis sales to begin in downtown Wilmington this year. This means marijuana for joints, edibles, and other cannabis products would be available for sale in shops in our town.
I am starting a petition to launch a revote of this article. I believe retail recreational marijuana sales in downtown Wilmington will hurt the culture and safety of our town.
