Antiquated regulations hinder town growth, prosperity

To the Editor,
Preserving a defunct historical district is prolonging the death phase of our town.
When a human dies, modern day society buries or cremates its dead. We treat the newly deceased with dignity. But in Wilmington, we keep them on life support indefinitely. We let them rot in pain. We even encourage their care givers to make them look good on the outside (aka a fraudulent facade grant), even though they’re dead.
