Alumni asking college president and trustees to seek alternatives to its current closure plan

To the Editor,
Generations of Marlboro College alumni are asking college president Kevin Quigley and the college’s trustees to seek out alternatives to its current closure plan while there’s still time.
Under the plan, announced this fall, Emerson College will take over the college’s campus and shut it down in July. Emerson announced that it will sell the land that the campus has been on since 1946 by July of this year. 
However, long-time former staff member and Marlboro College alumnus Will Wootton has issued the board a simple challenge.
