Ten-Minute Play Fest auditions this weekend

BRATTLEBORO - The Actors Theatre Playhouse in West Chesterfield, NH, will host open auditions for its Ten-Minute Play Festival at the Brooks Memorial Library community room on Saturday, April 23, from 10 am to 3 pm; and Tuesday, April 26, from 6 to 8 pm.
At the audition, actors will be asked to read from the 10-minute plays that interest them. Directors may ask them to read for other plays as well. Actors may audition for as many plays as they would like and they may be cast in more than one play.

Rehearsals for the 10-minute plays will most likely begin with a read-through in May and rehearsals in June, with the most intensely scheduled rehearsal time being the two weeks prior to the opening. The directors will schedule rehearsals for their respective plays. Actors should plan to be available on call to rehearse during the final three weeks before opening.
Tech week will take place from Saturday, July 9, to Thursday, July 14. The festival will be composed of nine performances, which will take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from July 14 to July 30.
