Keene State Theatre and Dance performing minimalist play

KEENE, NH - Keene State Theatre and Dance will perform Trish Harnetiaux’s “Welcome to the White Room” through Saturday, October 16, at 7:30 pm all days. A special matinee performance will occur Saturday, October 16, at 2. This KSC Theatre and Dance almuni production will be directed by Jacob Lavoie.
The play takes place in a completely white room. Lost and confused, a trio of strangers attempt to make sense of the escalating mystery behind their surroundings with only their instincts, wit, and sexuality. Escape is futile as they attempt to figure out exactly what they are meant to be doing in this senseless world. As the play unfolds, the audience goes with them on an imaginative, hilarious, profound journey filled with complex, nuanced storytelling which uses lights, movement, and sound to take them deeper and deeper into the story.
