Entitled “Harvest Moon,” this concert of music is all about or inspired by the moon, featuring a wide range of musicians and musical styles, including classical music, jazz standards, bluegrass, and even a bit of “60s” music. Among the performers will be Barbara Lipstadt, Holly and Joe Fortner - known as Blind Date - Eithne Eldred, Rich Mattern, Bekka Eowind and Kurt Schellenberg, Evon Mack, Mike Eldred, and the Woodland Musicians. Tunes will include such favorites as “Blue Moon,” “Moonlight in Vermont,” “Lonesome Moonlight Waltz,” “Claire de Lune,” “Moon River,” as well as moon songs not as well known. Attendees will be invited to join in and sing along for several songs.

St. Mary’s is a historic church which offers exceptional acoustics within its wood sanctuary space. Its distinctive red doors inspired the name for the concert series - now in its sixth year - which consists of quarterly concerts featuring local musicians performing in many musical styles, culminating each December in an annual community carol sing.
