Quartet plays 18th century chamber music

DOVER - Amphion Baroque will play 18th Century French and German Chamber Music at West Dover Congregational Church, 104 Route 100, Sunday, November 7, at 3 pm. The group will play works by Handel, Janitsch, Couperin, Hotteterre, Marais, Bach, and Telemann.
Amphion Baroque is a group of world-class musicians specializing in music of the baroque, using historically informed techniques and instruments of the period. The group consists of Jesse Lepkoff, on baroque flute and recorder; Dana Maiben, on harpsichord and organ; Christien Beeuwkes, on soprano and cello; and Mollie Glazer, on viola da gamba. Amphion aspires to capture the true spirit and sounds of the 18th century music of passion and style.
