Music has curtain call at town hall
WARDSBORO - Wardsboro Curtain Call is resuming programming with three shows planned for 2021 at Wardsboro Town Hall on Main Street.
On Saturday, July 24, at 7 pm, The Gene Pool, comprising local musicians Gene Morrison, Dave Arnold, Colin Blazej, Jake Geppert, and John Pozzi, will offer the audience “an evening of fine, original, acoustic Americana.”
To minimize personal contact, admission for this show will be by donation and there will be no WCC-supplied refreshments. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
On Sunday, September 19, at 2 pm, Bruce Mandel will perform in a return engagement, having played the WCC Music Series in 2018. For this show, WCC will move toward a more traditional event with a $10 admission and some WCC-provided refreshments.
On Friday, December 3, at 7 pm, The Wyld Nightz Band will return for another dance party. This time it will be WCC’s holiday event, “The Flannel Formal.” Wear the best flannel for the occasion, as well as dancing shoes or boots. Admission will be $15 and WCC refreshments will be provided. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
