Mandel, Zydeco top music options

Bruce Mandel returns to the Wardsboro Town Hall for the Wardsboro Curtain Call series. Planet Zydeco will bring their Cajun sounds to Putney on Sunday.

 

WINDHAM COUNTY - Music lovers have choices in the upcoming days.
On Sunday, September 19, at 2 pm, Bruce Mandel will perform at Wardsboro Town Hall, Main Street, for a second time, having played the hall previously in 2018. Lyrically driven, the diverse sounds of his recordings straddle and expand the contemporary folk, Americana, and singer-songwriter genres. Admission is free. Given the current COVID-19 situation, prepackaged refreshments will be available. Masks will be available for anyone wishing to use one. On Sunday, September 19, at 5 pm, Twilight Music and Next Stage Arts Project will present zydeco sextet Planet Zydeco on the Putney Tavern lawn or at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in case of rain.
