Manchester school open house

MANCHESTER CENTER – Red Fox Community School will be hosting an open house on Sunday, October 23, from 1 to 3 pm. The open house will allow visitors to tour the classrooms and outdoor learning spaces as well as meet the teachers and staff. All are welcome and encouraged to come and explore the campus.
RFCS is a progressive elementary school that serves children in grades K to five. The school started its sixth academic year this year and its second at their new campus on Pig Pen Road. The campus is ideally situated for active outdoor learning and for walking and biking the rail trail to area amenities, including Riley Rink and the Manchester Community Library.
RFCS is a community of children, families, and educators committed to developing relationships in which all are welcome and encouraged to share their voice and feel respected. The school educates students through a progressive approach to be independent thinkers, creative problem solvers, and engaged, respectful community members. Through shared authentic experiences, emphasis on the learning process, and the building of meaningful connections with the outside world, students create meaningful change and serve as stewards of intellectual freedom, community mindedness, and the natural world.
