Blayney Colmore

WILMINGTON - Join Bartleby’s Books for the launch of Blayney Colmore’s new book “I Reserve the Right to be Terrified: A Long Life” on Thursday, November 17, at 6 pm.
Colmore was an Episcopal priest for 30 years, from the tumultuous 1960s into the new millennium. He served at parishes across the country, had two marriages, three children, and two step-children.
Colmore was active in protests against racism, the Vietnam and the Iraq wars, and on an odyssey in pursuit of justice and peace. From the hope of the Great Society, women’s empowerment, and compassionate welfare, to a minority seeking to dismantle our democratic experiment, he’s been here long enough to know passionate, thoughtful energy can transform seeming hopelessness into new life. His energies remain fixed on living that conviction. Colmore splits his time between Jacksonville and La Jolla, CA.
Bartleby’s Books is located at 17 West Main Street. The store is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. For more information or to reserve a signed copy of the book, contact Bartleby’s Books at (802) 464-5425, bartbookvt@gmail.com or visit www.myvermontbookstore.com.
