Help slice and dice fuelwood with ANUFF

WEST TOWNSHEND - With colors changing and temperatures dropping, the lumberjacks and lumberjanes of A Neighborhood Uniting For Fuelwood are set to go into weekly mode. ANUFF will meet at Sarah and Matt’s place at 1474 Windham Hill, Sunday, October 17, at 10:30 am, to help them get their wood in.
The ANUFF splitter will be there but there’ll also be a need for mauls and, especially, wheelbarrows. After this event, ANUFFers wanting to earn extra credit can join Michael and Rick, working up the logs parked in Rick and Cindy’s field at 2232 Windham Hill Road. Great headway was made last weekend slicing and dicing this donated wood, but there’s plenty more to do before snow flies.
There are jobs for every age and ability so come on out and join neighbors helping neighbors make use of a sustainable, local fuel supply. There will be refreshments.
