Easter weekend services

Marlboro Meeting House

MARLBORO - The Marlboro Meeting House will be gathering in person this Sunday, April 17, at 6:30 am for its annual Easter sunrise service, which now resumes after a two-year pause due to the pandemic. Pastor Matthew Deen will lead a short worship service centered on the celebration of God’s faithfulness, as signified in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The scripture in focus will be Mark 16:1 to 8. A stair lift is available. All are welcome. Masks are most welcome but not required. The service will be followed by a potluck breakfast at 7 am.

Wilmington Baptist and Jacksonville Community

DEERFIELD VALLEY - There will be a Good Friday service at the Wilmington Baptist Church on Friday, April 15, at 6 pm. Joining the church will be John Brigham, Rick Gramlin, Bob McIntyre, Ellen Bailey, Dallas Berard, and Marie Finnegan. They will be speaking about the seven final sayings of Jesus while on the cross at Calvary. Also joining will be Jan Durfey, Linda Farrington, and John and Liz Wheeler. There will also be a sunrise service on Town Hill in Whitingham on Easter at 7 am. Coffee will be available. Join for the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord. For the children there will be an Easter egg hunt on Town Hill in Whitingham the same morning at 10:30 am. Easter services will be held as usual at Jacksonville Community Church at 9:15 am and Wilmington Baptist Church at 11 am.
