Contribute to jack-o’-lantern display, more

WILMINGTON - There are a series of fun community events planned for Halloween this year in town.
Wilmington Works and Shaw’s will again sponsor a jack-o’-lantern display in Riverbank Park.
Students at Twin Valley Middle High School, Twin Valley Elementary School, and Beaver Brook after school programs will carve pumpkins; the public is also invited to carve pumpkins and drop them off to help build another amazing display. Pumpkins can be dropped off at Riverbank Park in the center of Wilmington anytime on Thursday, October 27. The display will be lit starting that evening.
On Sunday, October 30, at 2 pm, the Wilmington Wags group will sponsor a Halloween dog parade. Leashed dogs in costume, bring your humans to the Memorial Hall lawn at 2 pm. Humans, bring your pup, get some treats, and get connected to this group working to make Wilmington more dog-friendly.
