Celebrate autumn

TOWNSHEND - The West Townshend Country Store will be hosting two exciting events in the coming weeks.
The first is their fall harvest festival on Saturday, October 22, from 5 to 7 pm. This event will feature pumpkin carving, a pie-eating contest, fresh-pressed apple cider making, live music, and wood-fired pizza from the WRCP’s community-built oven. There is no fee to attend, however, donations are accepted. This event will be outside on the lawn; costumes are welcome but not necessary. This event will be child- and dog-friendly. The second event will be their kids haunted Halloween party on Saturday, October 29, from 5 to 7 pm. This is the country store’s special event specifically for kids and their grown-ups. There will be a costume contest with prizes, pumpkin decorating, a ghostly sack race, face painting, a costume parade, bobbing for doughnuts, and lots of candy. Join the country store for a night of creepy, kooky, spooky revelry that the whole family will enjoy. For more information visit https://fb.me/e/2QpoEkunG.
