Beth El releases 5782 High Holidays schedule

BENNINGTON - Congregation Beth El has released its schedule for the 5782 High Holiday season, coming this September. The High Holidays will begin Monday, September 6, with Erev Rosh Hashanah. Evening service will take place from 7 to 8:15.
On the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Tuesday, September 7, morning service will occur from 10 to noon, and will be followed by Tashlich. The second day, Wednesday, September 8, will see services from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Yom Kippur will begin with Kol Nidre evening service Wednesday, September 15, from 6:30 to 8. Yom Kippur service on Thursday, September 16, will occur from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and will be followed by Yizkor. At 6 pm, there will be a Book of Jonah discussion. At 7 pm, there will be the Neilah/Havdalah.
For the safety of the community, a limited number of seats in the sanctuary will be available. In-person services will be open to fully-vaccinated persons only; proof of vaccination will be required. So that everyone who would like to attend in person gets to, the congregation asks that those complete a form and return to the CBE office no later than Wednesday, September 1. The form can be found at https://www.cbevermont.org/special-events.
Members not able to attend in person will be able to participate via Zoom. To reserve space on Zoom leave a message at (802) 442-9645 or email cbevtoffice@gmail.com. The reservation is needed to receive the links to enter services. Those without the Zoom program can still take part by clicking on the link.
