Awesome animals to visit Prouty center
BRATTLEBORO - The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum and Awesome Animal Academy have teamed up to kick off a series of after-school programs for kids who love animals. Join the two organizations for an open house on Saturday, November 13, from 1 to 3 pm at the Winston Prouty Center Gym, 60 Austine Drive, to discover more.
During the open house, parents and children will learn more about the Kids Saving Species program.
They will have the chance to meet some of the animals that will be featured in the programs, such as Bill the red-tailed hawk, Willow the barred owl, Soren the screech owl, Amelia the wood turtle and Petunia Rose the opossum.
During the Kids Saving Species program, children will also build leadership skills, develop entrepreneurial thinking, practice their presentation skills, engage in wildlife conservation, and connect with other young people who love animals.
Programs are offered both virtual and in-person so choose what’s best.
If unable to make it to the open house email C S, the critter saver, at office@awesomeanimalacademy.com to receive more information about the Kids Saving Species program.
