ANUFF meets in Newfane

NEWFANE - The sylvan spirits of A Neighborhood Uniting For Fuelwood will be helping Patty Johnson get her firewood in Saturday, April 23 starting at 10 am. The address is at 638 Vermont 30.
ANUFF will have splitters going and will need people to run them as well as stackers, chain saws, mauls, and carts. A small tractor, 5,000 pounds, is available but they need someone with a trailer who can haul it from West Townshend to Newfane and back. Johnson will be providing light snacks. The weather is looking clear and in the high 50s. There are tasks for every age and ability so come on out and join neighbors utilizing a local, renewable, and sustainable energy source.
