“Togo” leads team to Dover

DOVER - In 1925, the town of Nome, AK, was threatened by a deadly outbreak of diphtheria until one man and his team of sled dogs, led by the unlikely lead dog Togo, braved the icy elements to retrieve medicine from the nearest city. On Monday, June 13, the Dover Free Library will present the feature film based on the true story “Togo,” starring Willem Dafoe, Julianne Nicholson, and Togo. Showtime will be 3 pm.  Runtime is 114 minutes. The film is rated PG. This event is free and open to the public. Questions? Call (802) 348-7488.
