Farmers’ market and pizza night

WEST TOWNSHEND - Bard Owl will play the West Townshend Farmers’ Market  Friday, September 2. Composed of T. Breeze Verdant on guitar, vocals, and stomp box; and Annie Landenberger on vocals and percussion, Bard Owl has been playing the region since 2016, offering sweet harmonies, driving rhythms, and an eclectic mix of old-style tunes, new and original.
At the West Townshend Farmers’ Market on Route 30, vendors will set up by 4:30 pm. The outdoor wood-fired brick pizza oven will be ready for baking at 5 pm. Live music will be until 7 pm. For more information visit www.bardowlmusic.com or www.facebook.com/townshendfarmersmarket.
On Saturday, September 3, during pizza night in West Townshend, there will be a bake sale and open mic, followed by Celtic music played by Tam Lin. The Friends  of the Windham Schoolhouse is holding this event to raise money for replacing the worn floor of the Windham School multipurpose room with a new wooden one.Come for wood-fired pizza, delicious baked goods, and music.  Bring instruments and a song or poem to share at the open mic. The event will go from 5 to 7:30 pm. Donations are appreciated.
