BMAC holds online talks
BRATTLEBORO - The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center will present two online conversations this week.
The first is with artist Erick Johnson and BMAC chief curator Mara Williams about “Double Take,” an installation of Johnson’s oil paintings and photographs, on Thursday, September 23, at 7:30 pm. The exhibit is on view at BMAC through October 11.
The second is called “Lollapalooza Nation: The Rise of Alternative Rock in the 1990s,” and features music historian Theo Cateforis, on Thursday, September 16, at 7:30 pm. Cateforis will discuss the forces that gave rise to Lollapalooza and its lasting legacy a quarter of a century later.
