Poetry at Bennington does public readings

Bennington- Poetry at Bennington, an endowed program of short-term residencies that brings established and emerging poets to Bennington College for public readings and close work with students, has announced its fall 2020 lineup of featured poets.
On Wednesday, September 23, Joy Harjo, the 23rd United States Poet Laureate and first Native American to hold the position will read from her poetry. Harjo is the author of nine books of poetry. Her memoir “Crazy Brave”  won the PEN USA Literary Award for Creative Nonfiction and the American Book Award.
