Gov Scott warns "There will still be cases for quite some time."

Gov. Phil Scott on Friday

MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott sounded a note of caution Friday, even while announcing the progress of the vaccination program.

“Yesterday we opened up vaccinations for those 60 and older, and on Monday we’ll move to 50 plus.” Each Monday a new band will open, “ending on Monday, April 19, when every Vermonter 16 and over will be eligible.” However, said Scott, “Even after every adult has had a chance to be vaccinated, Covid is not going away, there will still be cases for quite some time.”
