Wilson announces candidacy

DEERFIELD VALLEY - George Wilson has announced his candidacy as an independent in the newly-redistricted Windham-2 as state representative. Windham-2 includes the towns of Wardsboro, Jamaica, Stratton, Somerset, and Dover.
Wilson invites voters to join together for two meet-and-greet forums at Dover Town Hall. The first will occur on Saturday, September 17, from 5 to 6 pm, and the second will occur Thursday, September 21, from 7 to 8 pm. The forums will allow Wilson to express his positions and to address questions and concerns.
Wilson said he looks forward to meeting fellow Windham-2 voters and working for them in Montpelier.
