10 years ago:
The Dover Selectboard signed another contract with KSE Partners to provide lobbying services for the 2014 legislative session, despite doubts raised by residents at a public meeting. The previous year, according to Dover School Board member Laura Sibilia, the lobbyists were able to stop an effort to eliminate the state’s small schools grant, which would have reduced Dover’s state education funding by $75,000 each subsequent year, and added as much as 5 cents to the town’s homestead tax rate.
