Local realtor and developer Rich Caplan purchased the Andirons, a ski lodge and restaurant on Route 100 in Dover. Caplan planned to demolish the building’s two lodging wings as well as am additional rental building at the back of the property. The main building, including Dover Forge restaurant and Billiards Sanctuary lounge, would get a facelift, and the southern half of the building would become home to Caplan’s real estate business.
