Readsboro Selectboard members received a letter from the Vermont Public Service Board announcing that the Readsboro Electric Department was under investigation for undercharging customers. Frustrated board members noted that they had requested a 26% increase in the rates, which the state bumped down to 22%. The board was also considering a 10% rate increase for the upcoming year.
