The so-called Tri-Town Economic Development Committee, or TED-C, scrambled to regroup after Whitingham selectboard members dropped a bombshell on the committee, announcing that they would not include $17,000 in requested funding in their 2010 budget.  The money was their share of the cost for the proposed hire of a three-town economic development director.  The committee eventually decided to move forward with funding from Wilmington and Dover to hire a “bi-town” economic development coordinator.
