15 years ago:
Whitingham resident and postmaster of the West Dover Post Office Ann Betit retired after 40 years with the US Postal Service. During her four decades, Betit also worked at the Readsboro and Whitingham post offices. Betit said she loved working at the post office because she loves the customers and her fellow employees. “You get very attached to your customers,” she said.
