Wilmington School Board members voted to pursue a K-12 consolidation plan with Whitingham. The two towns had successfully combined their middle and high school grades through a joint contract six years earlier, creating the Twin Valley Joint Contract School District, with a middle school in Whitingham, and a high school in Wilmington. The latest proposal would amend the joint contract to combine the two towns’ elementary schools.
