Six years after Wilmington and Whitingham created the Twin Valley joint contact middle and high school, board members were still looking for an affordable solution to repair or renovate the high school building in Wilmington. Board members were considering a plan to consolidate their K-six grades and create a joint contract K-12 district. The solution would allow them to eliminate one of the three buildings in the two towns, and renovate the two remaining schools for a lower cost than a new or renovated high school.
