10 years ago:
More than 100 business leaders from around Windham County were to meet at Memorial Hall for an economic development summit with the Southeastern Vermont Economic Development Strategies (SeVEDS) group.  The summit, and SeVEDS itself, were inspired by the local Tri-town Economic Development Committee, a cooperative effort of Dover, Wilmington, and Whitingham.  The TEDC, as it was known, was hailed as a model of regional cooperation on economic issues.
