Department of Education officials took issue with projected cost figures for a proposed $6.5 million renovation/addition to Twin Valley High School in Wilmington. DOE’s school construction specialist said Twin Valley Facility Committee’s $6.5 million estimate was too low by about $1 million. Facilities chair Phil Taylor said some of the DOE’s observations were legitimate, but others were unnecessary expenses.
