Twin Valley students win big in plow truck naming contest

WILMINGTON - The third and fourth graders of Marie Paige’s Twin Valley Elementary School science class succesfully named a plow truck “Big Maple” as part of the Vermont Agency of Transportation’s Name A Plow Program. A total of 87 full-sized plow trucks were named by students across the state, joing the 163 named last year.
Other local winners include Leland & Gray Union Middle and High School, whose participants chose the name “Snowbody’s Business.” A full list of winners can be found at https://vtrans.vermont.gov/name-a-plow.
