WHITINGHAM- In early April, 17 Twin Valley High School students and their three chaperones embarked on a 17-day adventure to Spain.
During their time in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia, the students visited a wide variety of museums, markets, churches and cathedrals, gardens, recreational facilities, stadiums, and historical and cultural sites. This experience required the students to learn and use a variety of “urban skills,” including using an unfamiliar monetary system, avoiding scammers, using mass transit, and, of course, reading, understanding, and speaking Spanish.
