Tool cottage expanded

BRATTLEBORO - Need a rake or a shovel? Want to try making pasta? Thanks to a grant from the Vermont Foodbank and in partnership with town sustainability coordinator Stephen Dotson, Brattleboro Time Trade, and Edible Brattleboro, the Brooks Memorial Library has expanded its tool cottage to include tools for gardening and landscaping and food preparation and preservation.
Equipment may be borrowed free of charge by Brooks Memorial Library cardholders. Items may be reserved at any time for a loan period of seven days. The collection will continue to grow so check in frequently.
Pickup and return of items is available during tool cottage open hours only: Wednesdays from 5 to 8 pm, Fridays from 4 to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 10 to noon.
