Teddy Bear Teas to be in person

DEERFIELD VALLEY - Open house events, called Teddy Bear Teas, will be happening at many area elementary schools this spring. The Teddy Bear Teas are for families with children ages 0 to 5. The purpose of the teas is for children and their families to get connected with their community school, other families, and resources.
The schedule for teas in the Deerfield Valley is as follows: Dover School - Friday, April 29, at 1 pm in person and inside; Townshend Elementary - Thursday, May 5, at 1 pm, in person and inside; Marlboro School - Friday, May 13, at 9 am, in person and inside or outside; Twin Valley Elementary - Wednesday, May 18, 1:30 pm, in person and outside, rain date Thursday, May 19; Jamaica Village School - Thursday, May 19, 10 am in person and inside; Newbrook Elementary - Thursday, May 26, 1:30 pm in person and inside; and Halifax Elementary - Thursday, June 9, 3 pm in person but where is to be determined, rain date Friday, June 10.
The Teddy Bear Teas are a collaboration between local schools and Early Education Services, the regional Parent Child Center. Teddy Bear cookies were donated by Brattleboro Union High School cookie bakers.
