Beal makes dean’s list
WORCESTER, MA - Gabrielle Beal, of Wilmington, VT, has been named to the College of the Holy Cross spring 2021 dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year. To qualify, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
A member of the class of 2024, Beal is majoring in chemistry.


Cleanthes earns honors
MANCHESTER - Kylie Cleanthes has been named to the headmaster’s list for the spring 2021 semester at Burr and Burton Academy. In the fall she will be attending the University of Vermont to get a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in special education.


Mack, Boles recognized
BOSTON - Cory Mack, of Bondville, VT, and Aaron Boles, of Wilmington, VT, have been named to Emerson College’s dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The requirement to make dean’s list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.
Both members of the class of 2022, Mack is majoring in business creative enterprises, while Boles’ is self-designed.


Divello makes list, earns degree
ROCHESTER, NY - Hope Divello, of Townshend, VT, has been named to the Rochester Institute of Technology’s spring 2021 dean’s list. Undergraduate students are eligible for the dean’s list if their GPA is greater than or equal to 3.40 for nine credit hours of coursework.
Divello graduated with a BS in biomedical engineering. Some 4,000 degrees were conferred in the 2020 to 2021 academic year at all of RIT’s campuses.


Holt earns honors
FARMINGTON, ME - Anna Holt, of Winhall, VT, has been named to the University of Maine at Farmington’s dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester, with honors.
UMF maintains a dean’s list each semester for students completing a minimum of 12 credits in courses producing quality points. Students whose grade point average for the semester is less than 3.8 but equal to or greater than 3.5 are awarded academic achievement. Any incompletes must be satisfactorily completed before the student is honored with dean’s list status.


Moore makes the list
LOWELL, MA - Coleman Moore, of West Dover, VT, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which recognizes those who achieve academic distinction for the spring 2021 semester.
Moore is majoring in composition for new media.


Yrsha graduates
FROSTBURG, MD - Rachel Yrsha, of Londonderry, VT, recently received a Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies from Frostburg State University.
Yrsha’s was one of nearly 700 degrees awarded for the fall semester.


Three graduate from VT Tech
RANDOLPH CENTER - Congratulations to Timothy Haineswood, of Marlboro, Alexandra Kennedy, of East Dover, and Lisa Ryan, of Wilmington, who all graduated from the Vermont Technical College practical nursing program in the spring 2021 semester.


Dryden on honor list
GETTYSBURG, PA - Abigail Dryden, of Londonderry, VT, has been placed on the Gettysburg College dean’s honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2021 semester.
Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher on a 4.0 scale for a semester’s work are placed on the college’s dean’s honor list.


Tobin graduates at Fenway
BOSTON - Emerson College awarded more than 950 undergraduate degrees and more than 470 graduate degrees for the class of 2021 on Sunday, May 2, at Fenway Park, and virtually on Sunday, May 9. The college also honored the class of 2020 graduates in an additional ceremony at Fenway Park on May 2.
Mikee Tobin, of Marlboro, VT, was one of those awarded.


Linder named to list
PHILADELPHIA - Elkanah Linder, of Townshend, VT, has been named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at University of the Sciences. Linder is a Doctor of Pharmacy student.
