Southern Vermonters on education, housing boards

VERMONT - Gov. Phil Scott recently announced the appointment of 52 individuals to state boards and commissions in November and the first half of December.
Appointments made by the governor over those six weeks include Tom Buchanan, of Londonderry, to the Passenger Tramway Board; Brian Marchegiani, of Halifax, to the Elevator Safety Review Board; Richard Werner, of East Dover, to the state Board of Education; and Robert Ruhl, of Wilmington, to the state Board of Dental Examiners.
Also appointed were Linda Joy Sullivan, of Dorset, who was appointed to the Vermont State Housing Authority; and Stephen Skibniowsky, of Vernon, to the Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel.
Rickey Harrington, of Shaftsbury, was appointed to the position of Glastenbury supervisor and the position of Somerset supervisor. Carolyn Partridge, of Windham, received the role of Windham County assistant judge.
