Seeking vendors for Wine & Harvest Festival
DEERFIELD VALLEY - The Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking vendors for the 2022 Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival. This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, September 24, at Mount Snow Resort in West Dover; and will be preceded by the Wine Stroll & Soup Contest in Wilmington on Friday, September 23. The festival was created to be a destination event and is promoted and packaged to late summer and fall travelers, day trippers, and Vermonters. The Deerfield Valley is a major tourist destination in the summer and fall.
The Wine & Harvest Festival celebrates the products, food, art, distilleries, and wineries of Vermont from 10 am to 5 pm under gorgeous tents. Last year the festival had over 4,000 guests. This is another fantastic opportunity for artisans from across Vermont to come together to showcase their crafts. In 2019 there were over 80 Vermont vendors made up of 21 Vermont wineries and distilleries, including award-winning Shelburne Vineyards, North Branch Vineyards, Whistle Pig Distillers, and Caledonia Spirits, as well as cooks, crafters, musicians, and artists.
Vendor fees have changed from previous years. Past out-of-state vendors may apply early this year with an in-state booth rate. As in past years, the chamber will restrict the number of vendors selling similar products to just four with preference given to past vendors. The vendor deadline has been extended to Sunday, July 31, for all application materials.
More information and the vendor application can be found at https://www.vtwinefest.com. Feel free to contact Bethany LaClair, executive director, or email email@example.com at any time to further discuss being a vendor.
