Full disclosure: I went to social work school for my master’s degree in social work and have worked at all sorts of jobs as a social worker for almost 30 years. I love the down to earth, practical aspects of social work process, a “person in their environment” theory, and a lot of hands on, being present work. Officer Krupke of “West Side Story” fame aside, social workers make a lot of difference in this world. So, when I heard a presentation on Rutland’s Project Vision last year I was thrilled.
