Playing ‘possum: Pair part of pilot program

MARLBORO - For those who haven’t been to the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum in the last year or so, there are some new faces there — long ones, with triangular snouts and pink noses. They belong to “Mr. and Mrs. O,” a pair of opossums who have taken up residence at the museum. They’re part of a trial of native mammals living in captivity, something that currently isn’t legal in the state.
