Mother and son team pen new book on Wilmington history
WILMINGTON- The history of Wilmington is finally being told, in a book by Julie Moore and Nathan Moore published last week.
Although the town of Wilmington is almost 270 years old, Moore's book is the first history of the town that has been published in book form. Their 128-page book "Wilmington" is one of Arcadia Publishing's "Images of America" series. As the series name implies, a curated collection of historical photographs is the core of the book, accompanied by detailed annotations by the authors.
