Misuse, overdose bereavement group
WILMINGTON - Voices of Hope and Brattleboro Area Hospice are collaborating to offer a grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one due to substance use/misuse and overdose. The group will be held weekly on Tuesdays, noon to 1 pm, at the former Wilmington fire station, 18 Beaver Street. The group will be facilitated by Rhondi Gleason, member of VOH and BAH. Bring a brown bag lunch and there will be drinks and cookies. The group is free of charge.
Bereavement groups offer a safe, mutually supportive environment for sharing experiences of grieving the death of a loved one. There is a quick intake process.
