The East Dover Fire Department held an open house Saturday, September 11, to dedicate a new flagpole for former fire chief and longtime firefighter Leonard Hall, who died earlier this year, and to commemorate 9/11. Firefighter Hayden Meckle reads the Firefighters Prayer in remembrance of fallen firefighters. Seated is Betty Hall, Leonard’s wife, who helped raise the flag in his honor.
