The East Dover Fire Department held an open house Saturday, September 11, to dedicate a new flagpole for former fire chief and longtime firefighter Leonard Hall, who died earlier this year, and to commemorate 9/11. Firefighter Hayden Meckle reads the Firefighters Prayer in remembrance of fallen firefighters. Seated is Betty Hall, Leonard’s wife, who helped raise the flag in his honor. Standing at right is East Dover Fire Chief John Abel.
