Sales are by donation and will benefit the Marlboro Alliance.
The sale will include good-quality, used clothing and baked goods, homemade snacks, and beverages will be for sale. Treasures, books, toys, and household goods will be waiting for new homes.
Those who wish to contribute clean, usable clothing or housewares may drop off items on Friday, July 29, from 9 am to 3 pm. Volunteers will screen donations. Don’t bring old tires, musty clothing, mildewed books, broken toys or vintage computers. On Sunday, July 31, from 9 am to noon, all remaining items are free but the Marlboro Alliance appreciates any donations.
The Marlboro Alliance is an all-volunteer charitable nonprofit organization. Every dollar they receive supports their many community initiatives, such as Town Meeting lunch and the volunteer thank-you breakfast.
The Marlboro Alliance financially supports Marlboro Cares, the Marlboro Mixer, and the Marlboro Fair, as well as the Meeting House, the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Company, and the Deerfield Valley Fuel Assistance and Food Bank. They provide emergency assistance to townspeople in crisis and annually award $5,000 in scholarships to elementary, high school, and college students. Find out more at www.marlboroalliance.com.
